Stories of goodness
Changemakers, classrooms and everyday acts from across India — the movement in human terms. Archetypal vignettes stand in until the first Mission Chetna stories are filmed.
Nominate a Chetna Hero
The library that runs on trust
No register, no fines, no locks — a village library in Uttarakhand where 2,000 books have gone out and come back for six years.
The auto driver's ledger
A returned phone, a refused reward, and a Kolkata driver who keeps a notebook of debts owed to strangers.
The economics of the langar
Goodness at scale is not a theory. What a community kitchen that feeds 100,000 a day teaches about stewardship.
A classroom's honesty box
Grade 4 students in Nagpur run a shop with no shopkeeper — and a monthly surplus.
The pond that came back
A retired teacher, forty volunteers and the return of a dry wetland in Haryana.
One rupee at a time
How a Chetna Hero in Bihar turned a daily one-rupee collection into a school.
Finding the people who quietly hold India together
Mission Chetna documents, connects and grows the work of changemakers — 70+ NGOs across 11 states, 10 million+ lives touched through their work.
